Amazing Ballet Barres for At-Home Classes
While a ballet barre isn't necessary for practicing at home (the back of a chair or a kitchen counter work well enough), it's the far more convenient option. It's particularly great to use during beginner ballet classes, that require the student to face the bar while holding on with both hands for extra stability. Most ballet movements aren't possible to do with both hands on the counter because there isn't room for any forward leg motion. Below is my list of great ballet barres, including the one I currently use for both ballet videos and live ballet classes.
I hope this helps with your ballet practice!
